Hodaya With Baby Boy Yosef Yaakov

Jun 18, 2019 • By Be'ad Chaim

Hodaya is happily married and has a little boy Ofek who is 1.4 years. Hodaya and her husband have a very strong and loving relationship, he is very supportive and works very hard to provide for the family.  He has 3 children from his previous marriage, one of them lives with him and Hodaya. His other two children come to visit regularly. Both Hodaya and her husband work very hard to share the load in building up and caring for the whole family.

When Hodaya’s little boy was only 3 months old and Hodaya had just returned to work, she discovered she was pregnant again. Even though they didn’t want to abort, they were in a difficult financial situation and were struggling to make ends meet. In addition to their own family expenses her husband was also paying alimony to his ex-wife for each one of his children. They really did not see how they would be able to cope with  another child.

We had helped Hodaya with her first son, and now being in such a hard situation she turned to us again and we were very happy to walk beside her and help her as much as we could. Through your very generous sponsorship Hodaya once again was able to become part of The Operation Moses Project. This provided her with new furniture for her baby and also monthly vouchers for a whole year to buy the other essentials that her baby would need.

On the 7th April Hodaya gave birth to a sweet little boy, they named him Yosef Shalom. It was a natural birth, and praise God everything went well and both mother and baby are doing well. Precious Yosef is feeding, sleeping and growing very well. Hodaya is planning to stay home with Yosef until he is 6 months old and then send him to daycare together with his older brother so she will be able to go back to work.

Hodaya and her husband were very thankful to be allocated an apartment from the government which means their monthly rental is greatly reduced now.

Hodaya said “Thank you so much!!” she is so very grateful for all they have already received and all they will receive in the coming year. It really is making a huge difference to their situation.

Thank you very much for your kind and generous support and for your continued prayers for Hodaya and her family.
