Lusy - Sivan

Nov 14, 2019 • By Be'ad Chaim

Lusy is a young 22-year-old Arab Muslim woman.  She left her parent’s home when she was 18 years old and since then, until very recently,  has not been in contact with them.

When Lusy discovered she was pregnant she was very shocked and didn’t know what to do. Her relationship with her boyfriend wasn’t good and she was very scared at the thought of being a single mother with no support from anyone at all. Lusy seriously considered having an abortion.

Lusy then heard about Be’ad Chaim through a friend and decided to contact us and ask for help.   We were very happy to support Lusy and thankfully she then decided to choose life for her baby. It was then through your very generous sponsorship she was able to become part of The Operation Moses Project. This provided her with new furniture for her baby and also monthly vouchers for a whole year to buy other essentials that her baby would need.

On the 26th of July 2019 Lusy gave birth to a precious little girl, she named her Sivan. It was a natural birth and both mother and baby are healthy and doing well.  Praise the Lord this then made the way for Lusy to restore her relationship with her family.  After giving birth Lusy contacted her mother and told her the whole story.  At first, her mother supported her by sending her money, but then a few weeks later she invited her, with precious little Sivan,  to come and live with them so they could help and support her during this very precious but challenging time.

After spending time with her parents she realized that during this whole time they thought that she had got married and divorced without telling them!  She is now overflowing with joy and gratitude to her family that they have received her back with open arms into their home and are accepting her and her beautiful baby. She never thought that this would be possible.

Lusy is planning to go to work in January when little Sivan grows a bit and send her to daycare.

Lusy is so deeply grateful for all she has received, all the love and support and practical help.  It really has meant a great deal to her and made a huge difference to her situation.
