Nahida is a Druze woman from the south of Israel. She is a divorced and a single mother to three precious girls, Lian (9), Rozan (3) and now her precious newborn.
Nahida has had a very difficult and sad background. She was a victim of abuse, neglect, and rejection from her family. She was never able to meet her family and society’s expectations and was rejected and threatened to be killed because of family honor.
As a result, Nahida has many emotional and mental problems, depression and fears. She is considered mentally disabled and is receiving a disability allowance. Nahida is closely connected and monitored by her social worker who is very aware of her background and current situation.
Nahida married a man as a second wife and very soon after divorced him because he wasn’t a good man and had a very bad influence on her.
When Nahida got pregnant with her third baby she seriously considered having an abortion, however, soon after she started feeling her baby kick inside her, and her heart was moved and she decided to choose life for her precious baby. Through her social worker, Nahida heard about Bead Chaim and decided to turn to us for help. We were very glad and happy to support this precious lady.
It was then through your very generous sponsorship Nahida was able to become part of The Operation Moses Project. This provided her with new furniture for her baby and also monthly vouchers for a whole year to buy other essentials that her baby would need.
Nahida is so deeply grateful for all the support she has received, it really has made a huge difference to her situation.
On the 1st October 2019 Nahida gave birth to a precious little girl, she named her Mona. The birth went well and both Nahida and her beautiful daughter are healthy and doing well. Nahida loves her little daughter and seems to be doing very well caring for her.
Nahida is currently not working at all but she is hoping to be able to work for a few hours a day when little Mona gets a bit older.
