Omer - Sharon

Omer is a lovely and brave single woman. She has been through many different treatments and sperm donations over the last eighteen years before she eventually conceived her first son Ilay who is now three years old. Later, from the same sperm donor, she conceived again. Omer was so excited that her dream of having a child had come true for the second time. However, she knew the reality of parenting and raising up children as a single mom. Omer was referred to us through her social worker and we were very glad to help her. 

It was then through your very generous sponsorship Omer was able to become part of The Operation Moses Project. This provided her with new furniture for her baby and also monthly vouchers for a whole year to buy the other essentials that her baby would need.

On the 22nd of May 2019, Omer gave birth to a precious little girl, she called her Sharon (meaning halo). It was a C-section and praise God everything went well, both mother and baby are healthy and doing well. Omer is overflowing with the joy at the privilege of having another child, knowing how hard she worked and how much effort and money she spent over all the years. She absolutely adores little Sharon. She shared that each time she looks at her children she is amazed at the gift she has received, they are a joy. She is so grateful to God for them. Omer is struggling to nurse precious Sharon but she is very keen to keep trying. Please pray that she will have enough milk. 

In November, Omer is planning to go back to work and send little Sharon to daycare. She used to work in a kindergarten and is hoping to find a job in a similar place. Please pray for open doors. 

Omer is receiving income support from National Insurance and she is living in a government funded apartment which is very helpful.
