Tal - Gaya

Jan 16, 2020 • By Be'ad Chaim

Tal is 33 years old, she is divorced and has six precious children - Ilay (13), Liron (12), Shalev (9), Orel (8), Adiel (6), and now her newborn baby. In the past, Tal has had one miscarriage. When Tal discovered she was pregnant with her 6th child she had been using a contraceptive device. She wasn’t planning on getting pregnant nor thought it was at all possible. Besides that, Tal was going through bankruptcy, her financial situation was desperate. She really didn’t know how she would be able to provide for another child.

We have helped Tal in the past and so she decided to make contact with her counselor once again. We were very glad indeed to support her and it was then through your very generous sponsorship she was able to become part of The Operation Moses Project again. This provided her with new furniture for her baby and also monthly vouchers for a whole year to buy other essentials that her baby would need.

It was a difficult pregnancy during which Tal suffered from severe pain in her pelvis and was in pregnancy retention. On the 17th of October 2019, Tal gave birth to a precious little girl, her first daughter after 5 sons! She named her Gaya (meaning "God’s song").

Tal’s and her ex-husband reunited for about a month and that is when she got pregnant. Her husband is verbally abusive towards her and they do not get along at all well, so they have decided to separate again. He is not supporting Tal in any way. Tal prefers to raise her children on her own rather than needing to suffer all the abuse from her ex-husband.

Tal is currently on maternity leave. She is planning to go back to work on the 1st of February, and placing little Gaya in daycare.

Tal’s older boys love their little sister, and they help their mother as much as they can. Tal has support from her family and even from some of her neighbors for which she is very grateful. Tal is also deeply grateful for all the love and support she has and is still receiving from Be’ad Chaim and her most generous donor. She really is very appreciative, it is making a huge difference to her situation.

Thank you so very much for your kind and generous support and for your continued prayers for Tal and her family.
