Tal is a wonderful and brave woman, she is married but she and her husband were separated. Tal has had one abortion in the past, and also one miscarriage.
When Tal realized she was pregnant it really caught her by surprise, not only did she find out she was pregnant but that she was expecting twins! She felt it wasn’t very good timing as she and her husband were separated and she didn’t know how she would be able to bring up twins on her own. Tal had decided to have an abortion and then after to speaking with one of her neighbours she changed her mind.
Tal then turned to Be’ad Chaim and was able to receive both love and support from one of our wonderful counselor, It was then through your very generous support that Tal was able to become part of the Operation Moses Project which provided her with all the furniture she would need for her twin boys plus monthly vouchers for a whole year to buy the other essential things she would need for her babies. Tal was very touched by all the care and attention her counselor gave her and her family and to her donor who supported them though this very difficult and challenging time.
Tal had a very complicated and a high risk pregnancy, she had an infection in her blood and for most of the pregnancy she was hospitalized.
Tal gave birth on the 2nd December 2018 to her precious twin boys at 26 weeks, (6 months). Because the babies were so premature they had to spend 80 days in a ward for premature babies, a neonatal intensive care unit (NICU). Both of them had to undergo several surgeries after which they were released home. However, they have had to be hospitalised quite often. It seems to Tal that one or other is always in hospital.
Both Boys had a Hernia in their private parts. One baby had a hole in his heart and sometimes he stops breathing. He had to rush to hospital several times because of that. The baby also has problems with his hearing, and they are both being treated in the Child Development center. Unfortunately there was a mistake made in the hospital when Nurofen was given to one of the boys and he almost died. He is allergic to one of the ingredients in the medicine and it affected his heart very badly.
Praise God they have both been through all the surgeries now. There is only surgery left, the Umbilical hernia, but if it doesn’t bother the child they don’t do anything with it.
It has been a very traumatic and hard season for them all, Tal, her husband and the twins. In addition to all the stress and going through life and death situations with the twins, Tal suffered from Postpartum depression, but she is now hoping that the worst is behind them. Please pray for healing and restoration for all of them.
Through this very difficult time Tal and her husband have reunited. They were about to get divorced but praise God now they are in a good and supporting relationship. Please pray for them both to be strengthened and for their relationship to blossom, so they can work as a team in caring for and bringing up these precious boys.
Thankfully Tal’s mother and mother-in-law are able to help them a lot in caring for the babies.
Tal expressed her deep gratitude, she said thank you so very much for all your generous and loving support, thank you for helping us. We have received everything for both babies, it’s not easy when you need to buy double of everything!
Thank you very much for your kind and generous support and for your continued prayers for Tal and her precious family.
