Mommy Yarin

Dec 04, 2019 • By Be'ad Chaim

Yarin is a single mother to two precious children, a boy who is 16 months old and now her precious newborn daughter. They live in a rented apartment and Yarin is receiving income support. She has recently applied to receive a government-subsidized apartment but still hasn’t had confirmation of this.  She is really hoping for it to be approved soon.

When Yarin’s son was only 6 months old she discovered she was pregnant again. Yarin was struggling and didn’t know how she would be able to cope, being aware of her difficult situation, both financially and as a single mother. She wanted to have an abortion. Thanks to her mother and one of our counselors at Bead Chaim, who spoke to her and encouraged her, Yarin decided to keep her baby.

In the past, we have supported Yarin’s mother and also her younger sister, who gave birth when she was only 15 years old. We also helped Yarin with her first child, and now, when she decided to turn to us again, we were very glad to support her and accept her into the program once again. It was then through your very generous sponsorship Yarin was able to become part of The Operation Moses Project. This provided her with new furniture for her baby and also monthly vouchers for a whole year to buy other essentials that her baby would need.

Yarin shared how deeply grateful she is for being accepted to the program again and for all the love and support she is receiving from Be’ad Chaim and her generous donors.

On the 4th of September 2019, Yarin gave birth to a beautiful little girl weighing 3 Kg, she named her Orit. It was a quick and natural birth. Yarin is breastfeeding little Orit, who is healthy and developing well.

Orit ’s father is an Arab man. They don’t communicate regularly and he doesn’t pay her alimony or support her in any way. Yarin is currently not working, she is a stay home mom, taking care of her 2 little children.

Both Yarin, her mother, and her younger sister are single mothers, they all live in the same building and are a great support to each other. They spend a lot of time together. Yarin’s mother is trying to support both her daughters and her other children and grandchildren as much as she can but she herself is struggling because she is not working.

Thank you very much for your kind and generous support and for your continued prayers for Yarin and her family.
